Register for a Parenting Class

Our approach to parenting education is simple.  Give parents the tools they need to be great parents. Many of us are parenting using the trial and error method. 

While in session, our classes are held every other week on Saturday morning from 8 am-11:30 am. We are planning to restart classes - postponed due to COVID - in Spring 2023. The cost per person for the three class set is $125 and includes all class materials and the workbook. Tuition is due and payable when you register for the class. Registration is limited to 16 people.

We will be beginning our parenting education series with the Love and Logic method of parenting. The Love and Logic method of parenting is vetted and backed by over four decades of research about how to raise responsible kids. 

Love and Logic is a loving, balanced approach to parenting that is neither permissive nor punitive.

We show adults how to discipline kids without losing their love and respect.

• We focus on helping children develop personal responsibility, self-control and good decision-making skills.

• Unlike some approaches we don’t use complicated reward or punishment systems only focused on short-term compliance.

• Instead, we focus on nurturing long-term relationships and reinforcing good character.

• Empathy is a big part of the Love and Logic method.  We teach parents to stand beside their kids when they have difficulties, to empathize and support them while helping them figure out how to solve the problems their behavior has caused.  This turns the parent into an ally rather than a target for the child’s anger and disappointment.
