Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a place to receive support and companionship during challenging times.  Counseling is invaluable for helping you to cope with personal challenges like grief, anger, depression, anxiety, and unhealthy ways of coping with stress.  Counseling can help you manage relational challenges with friends and loved ones and it can teach you healthier ways to communicate and solve problems. Our tools and strategies are based on the latest research and science about human beings and how they flourish.

You will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of our professional counselors in a safe, caring, and confidential environment.  We provide a safe space to explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, a place to work through any trauma you have experienced, and a way to make sense of your childhood.  A caring professional can help facilitate change, if change is desired.

Your initial intake session lasts 80 minutes.  Individual sessions last 50 minutes.  The frequency and duration of therapy will depend largely on your needs, treatment goals, and progress. Many concerns can be resolved with short-term therapy, while more acute or complex concerns often require a longer time commitment before improvement is realized.
